Newspaper article: Viaggio-incubo dentro gli scavi di Ercolan

A paper about the supposed state of degradation of Herculaneum was published three days ago by the Corriere della Sera. It is also illustrated with a 5 minutes video.
ERCOLANO - I tour operator descrivono gli scavi di Ercolano come un centro abitato fermo a una lontana mattina del 79 d.C». Non dicono, però, che fermi a una lontana mattina di chissà quale anno sono anche i lavori di recupero dell'intera area archeologica. Meno conosciuto di quello di Pompei, il sito di Ercolano è un piccolo gioiello d'archeologia. Peccato che su 47 siti presenti, ben 26 siano chiusi al pubblico. Alcuni addirittura da quasi mezzo secolo. E, in effetti, più che un sito archeologico sembra un museo dell'incompiuto.

Some of the facts presented in this video are true indeed. But, as usual in this kind of cases, not explaining the situation doesn't help. For instance, the theatre is closed (maybe for a few decades).
For mainly two reasons (as far as I know):
Gas emission (radon, that also might be radioactive)
Lack of custodians
This could have been said, as some detailed explanations should have been given, to be more objective.
Herculaneum, where I have been studying for more than a decade, has changed meanwhile, getting better. It is not perfect, works are going on.
